Sobhita Dhulipala wins Miss Eco-Beauty title
Sobhita Dhulipala, the Ponds Femina Miss India Earth 2013, has been awarded
Miss Eco-Beauty title at the Miss Earth 2013 pageant. Sobhita earned the
gold medal with over 5000 votes, while Miss Macau Ashley Qian bagged
the silver medal with 4800 votes and Miss Turkey Ezgi Avci won the
bronze medal.
Dhulipala
promoted safe drinking water for the Eco-Beauty campaign. During the
campaign in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district, she spent a few days with
the villagers and explained to them the importance of safe drinking
water.
Earlier
at the Miss Earth 2013 pageant, Sobhita had bagged the gold medal for
Miss Photogenic title. Dhulipala is India's representation at the Miss
Earth 2013 pageant in Philippines that is scheduled for December 7,
2013.
