Bobby Jasoos starring Vidya Balan, happens to be a romantic comedy-drama about a female private detective known as "Bobby". The character who wants to become the number one detective in the city of Hyderabad.

Bobby Jasoos known to be the second project of Born Free Entertainment, the joint production house by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha, after Love Breakups Zindagi. Regarding this project, Dia Mirza said in an interview, "The script of Bobby Jasoos bears testimony to the fact that being patient and investing in good stories usually reaps good dividends."

Additionally known that Filming of Bobby Jasoos was postponed by 11 days from the scheduled date due to an emergency heart surgery of Dia Mirza's mother. Dia later stated that the filming will commence from November 25, 2013. The filming will commence from Hyderabad, the city where the story is based and is supposed to wrap by January 2014. Shooting for the film commenced on 23 November 2013 and got shot in one long schedule of 55 days.

Notably, while sitting misleaded as a beggar outside a railway station in Hyderabad, Vidya looked so original that a woman reportedly gave her some money and yelled at her for begging to stretch out a livelihood.

Now, coming to the Soundtrack, Shantanu Moitra roped in to compose the film score for Bobby Jasoos, while lyrics are penned by Swanand Kirkire. Singers Shreya Ghoshal and Papon were also reported to record a song for the film, which is also their first duet.Singer Aishwarya Nigam, fame of Munni Badnam hui, has also recorded a song. Singer Bonnie Chakraborty said in an interview that he has recorded a duet for the film with Shreya Ghoshal. Other popular singer who contributed to the film songs are Monali Thakur, Neeraj Shridhar.

Exceptionally talented Indian actress Vidya Balan known to have expressed about the mysterious desires.

During the moment Vidya was questioned about so many detective based films as present trend, she expressed that the reason could be the unlawful events taking place in the country. Therefore, there might be an urgency to have a jasoos to tackle wrongdoings.

Now, coming to her forthcoming film "Bobby Jasoos", Vidya explains that when Atul (Kasbekar) called her and told her that he wants to offer a film called 'Bobby Jasoos', she thought they want her to play a kitty kind of character (Kitty was the assistant of the famous TV detective Karamchand) and therefore showed lack of interest. Even though she couldn't understand how to say no to Dia Mirza. On the contrary, once she knew the fact that the character Bobby happens to be female detective, she was emotionally overpowered.  

Interestingly, when Vidya was asked whom she would like to spy on, replied that its Big B, Narendra Modi and also the religious fake baba's. She emphasized on the fact that there are several hidden facts about them and she would like to explore and expose them at the earliest. Now, coming to pregnancy factor and commitment in films, Vidya expressed that if she would become pregnant then film would come later, and if the case is opposite then she wouldn't think of pregnancy. That's due to the reason she respects professionalism. Vidya mentioned that she and her husband (Siddharth Roy Kapoor)  would be delighted to share the news of pregnancy.   

Towards the concluding stage, Vidya expressed that she feels terribly bad with the rumors that comes out about her, but at present she got used to it and she just gives a big smile on them.

Whatever it may be, there are ups and downs in everyone's life, but the real fact here is that this lady jasoos is going to justify her mysterious desire for sure!

There was an announcement that filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh who's still in search for his leading lady in "Durga Rani Singh" has discovered the leading man for the film.

According to a source, Sujoy is still in search for the leading lady and there has been several names doing the rounds but nothing has been finalized yet. Irrfan Khan has agreed to do the lead role. The film will be shot in various locations including West Bengal. Sujoy has been busy traveling scouting the location for the film.

Additionally known that the film has been in the news for quite some now due to reason of its casting woes. Firstly, its was Vidya Balan who was mentioned to play the lead of the film. When she opted out astonishingly enough, given her proximity to Sujoy, Kangana Ranaut was said to be approached who too turned down the offer. Since the role is said to be a powerful one, Sujoy is in hunt for someone who will have the exceptional acting skill to play it greatly.

Irrfan mentioned that he had already signed it as he's confirmed with Sujoy's film. It was known to be a thriller. It seems Sujoy continued to be unavailable for remark.

Filmfare Best Actor Awards for Ranbir-Vidya

Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor (Male) Award for his film Barfi while Vidya Balan won the Best Actor (Female) Award for her film Kahaani at the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2012. Both the Best Actor Awards were given by Rekha. Both Vidya Balan and Ranbir Kapoor touched Rekha's feet to seek her blessings. 

They undoubtedly deserved the top honours for their spell bounding performances!
