Deepika Padukone the most energetic actress of Bollywood is been working all round the clock. She has recently returned from her busy schedule shooting for 'Tamasha', which is directed by Imtiaz Ali and co actor Ranbir Kapoor.

She started promotional activities immediately after returning for her hectic schedule and the two films Finding Fanny and Happy New Year are going to hit the Box office very soon.

On August 12 Deepika hosted the song 'Fanny Re' from Finding Fanny and she was present at the trailer of Happy New Year.

Her upcoming movie ‘Finding Fanny ‘is going to hit the Box office on September 12 and she is busy in promoting the film. She also adjusted her dates in-order to promote Happy New Year and will be travelling for the SLAM tour with the entire Team.

Deepika will also soon start shooting for Shoojit Sircar’s Piku and then Bajirao Mastani. She is also busy with her brand commitments. Deepika is so passionate about her work and she has the capability to adjust her schedule accordingly.

Priyanka Chopra upcoming movie Mary Kom which is based on the life of Five time boxing champion Mary Kom. The film cannot be released in Manipur which is the home town of Mary Kom.

There has been ban on the use of Hindi and the screening of Hindi films and TV shows at Manipur when the revolutionary People where fighting for a separate state in September 2000. During the period thousands of video cassettes of Hindi films and many cinema halls have been destroyed and shutdown.

“We are trying very hard for this to happen, but the movies association and underground groups should allow it. It looks difficult but we will speak to the government about the same.’’ said Mary Kom.

Utpal Borpujari, a filmmaker from Assam, says, “In today’s globalised world, such bans have no meaning as everyone can access films through DTH networks and the internet. There’s no point in banning films from a particular language or culture except perhaps scoring some political brownie points for the militant group involved. It will be in the spirit of things if the film, Mary Kom, gets released in Manipur so that Manipuris can see how the story of one of them has been told on a large canvas. And why only Mary Kom, films from any language should be screened wherever there is a market for it. Even if one concedes, for argument’s sake, that Bollywood films are a ‘bad influence’ on Manipuris, does it mean that the rich Manipuri culture is so weak that it can get affected by such films? its best is to let people decide about these things.”

Aamir Khan latest upcoming move “Pk” has been facing many problems regarding the first look of the poster. It is official that Aamair has already planned his next movie in which he is going to a play a wrestler character.

According to reports, Nitesh Tiwari, the director of Bhoothnath Returns and Chillar Party, will helm the project and it is also stated that the film will be produced by a leading studio.

A source said, “Aamir has already started working out for the role. Unlike in Dhoom 3, where a different kind of physique was a prerequisite for the role, in Dungal, he has to look like a wrestler. He will have to beef up. The training is very intensive and will need months of work.”

The film is expected to go on the floors next year and meanwhile Aamir has to complete the shooting of PK in a month’s time.

Salman Khan at the end of this month is expected to take a three day tour of Toronto to promote his co-producer of the Canadian English language film Dr Cabbie that stars his rumoured ex, Katrina Kaif’s sister, Isabel in the lead.

In early September at Toronto International Film Festival most of the films are being lined up for screening this year. So they have decided ' Dr Cabbie' for the screening at the festival.

"Instead, they have decided to steal the Indian thunder at the Toronto International Film Festival by inviting Salman, the official producer of the film," says a source.

About a year ago when the film was launched Salman also gave a statement saying that 'Dr Cabbie is the story of an Indian immigrant and it has an inherent universal appeal.’

Rumours also spread stating that Salman makes a brief appearance in the film and the film has been directed by Canadian Jean-Francois Pouliot.
