James Cameron plans 3 sequels of Avatar

Maverick director James Cameron on Monday said that he would be making 3 more parts of Avatar, the 2009 sci-fi blockbuster film. Cameron along with producer Jon Landau met Prime Minister of New Zealand John Key in Wellingtoon as the government agreed to a 25 percent rebate for the films. Cameron said “all the three parts will be shot simultaneously and will be released with a gap of 9 to 12 months.”

All the three parts will be completely shot in New Zealand and they will come in 3D format. Cameron however did not disclose the budget of these three projects and the insiders say they would cost around  or may be less than 1 billion US Dollars. The films will be made by Lightstorm Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox.  The principal shooting of the sequel might begin early 2015.

Happy Birthday John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh

Bollywood stars John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh have turned 41 and 35 years old respectively today. John Abraham made his Bollywood debut with 'Jism' which was directed by Amit Saxena in 2004. The model turned got big break with Yash Raj Film's Dhoom in which John played antagonist role. From then on John never looked back. He even turned as producer and 'Vicky Donor' was the first film under his production which won the National Award for providing wholesome entertainment. Currently John is working for Karan Johar's 'Dostana 2' and 'Welcome Back'.

Riteish Deshmukh made his Bollywood debut with 'Tuhje Meri Kasam' in 2003. He is popular for his performance in adult comedy flicks and his recent film Grand Masti belongs to the same category. The movie met with good response and garnered 100 crore at box office. Riteish is working for the sequel of Dostana which features Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the lead role and signed Mohit Suri's next and Tigmanshu Dhulia's next which are likely to the floors in the year 2014.

Bigg Boss 7 contestant Armaan Kohli Arrested

Actor Armaan Kohli on Monday was arrested by the Lonavala Poilce on the charges of assaulting British-Pakistani actress Sofia Hayat during their stay in a bungalow for the shooting of season 7 of Bigg Boss, a popular reality show. The Police booked Kohli under Sections 324, 509, 506 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are interrogating him in Lonavala police station. He will be produced in the Wadgaon Maval court on Tuesday said the police sources.

Sofia tweeted this update in her micro blogging account. “Omg! I just had a call now... arman kohli arrested from bb house,” she tweeted. Sofia had filed a complaint at Santacruz police station in Mumbai accusing Kohli of hitting her with a wooden mop inside the 'Bigg Boss' house. The complaint was later transferred to the Lonavala police station for investigation and accordingly they checked the video footage with the help of 'Bigg Boss' management. Atlast Armaan Kohli was Arrested  on Monday.

The first trailer of romantic director Imtiaz Ali's 'Highway' is out and it looked fantastic. The movie features Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. Randeep is seen as a truck drive who kidnaps Alia, a young girl who looks out for freedom. The 'Student of the Year' actress clearly dominated the trailer and is yet to deliver another promising performance.

Sajid Nadiadwala and UTV Motion Pictures are mutually producing the movie. So far Imtiaz has delivered back-to-back hits at box office and even this film as huge expectations and Highway will hit the screens on February 21, 2014.

The Bollywood is going gaga over Hrithik and Sussanne separation. Apparently the close friends of the couple were shocked initially on hearing this news. But things between Hrithik and Sissanne were not in good terms since very  long time and finally the day has come for both to find their ways also the added few more close associates.

Hrithik was silent over the issue and maintained so to have a smooth release for his film Krrish 3. In fact Hrtihik made all the promotions of the film on his own and Sussanne was nowhere seen during promotion of Krrish.

Many rumors came around in the past like Hrithik was linked up with Kites co-star Barbara Mori and surprisingly Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal name came into the limelight raising eyebrows over the issue. In addition to this Sussanne insisted upon Hrithik to move out of the family but the Krrish hero decline the proposal causing more worries for their relation.

The Roshan's family members and very close friends tried to pacify Sussanne but sources say that she has crossed the line of compromise and is no mood to get back with Hrithik. Even Sussanne's father Sanjay held discussions with Sussanne but they aren't that fruitful. So we can clearly say that hell of negotiations were done before get separated. Four months ago Sussanne moved to her father's Sanjay Khan's home but then it was said that she came to take care of her dad and none heard or spoke about their relation.

When contacted Sussanne regarding clarifications she said “We are two respectful individuals and made up our mind to find own ways. We are blessed with two kids and they need to be taken care and responsibilities will be the same as ever. We need some privacy in such times and hope all will abide by our personal choices made.”

Socialite Kim Kardashian will be donating 10% of her total earnings towards charity and this move by her came when she was criticized for giving only a minor portion of her earnings. Kim said “apart from eBay auction earnings I would be contributing 10% additional and will be donating this amount to the non-profit organisation International Medical Corps, to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.”

“Just because few people criticized me, I'm not donating additionally, as I wanted to do I made the donations. However people keep criticizing for whatever you do, my dad's influence is more on me and he taught me to pay back to the society in whatever way we could,” added Kim.

Boney Kapoor's son  Arjun Kapoor's next film has been titled 'Tevar'. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor. Filmmaker Aditya Chopra gave the Kapoors the decision to title the film. According to reports, Boney Kapoor wanted 'Tevar' as the title, as it was a favorite of YRF as well as with Yashji's. Arjun told Adi (Aditya) immediately named the film 'Tevar', when told by Arjun about the Kapoors' decision.

Arjun will play the role of a college student from Agra, who is a Kabaddi champion in the movie. 'Tevar' is a remake of a Telugu action film 'Okkadu'. Debutante Amit Sharma will be directing this film that also stars Sonakshi Sinha. The shooting for the film will start from January.

Sobhita Dhulipala wins Miss Eco-Beauty title

Sobhita Dhulipala, the Ponds Femina Miss India Earth 2013, has been awarded Miss Eco-Beauty title at the Miss Earth 2013 pageant. Sobhita earned the gold medal with over 5000 votes, while Miss Macau Ashley Qian bagged the silver medal with 4800 votes and Miss Turkey Ezgi Avci won the bronze medal.

Dhulipala promoted safe drinking water for the Eco-Beauty campaign. During the campaign in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district, she spent a few days with the villagers and explained to them the importance of safe drinking water.

Earlier at the Miss Earth 2013 pageant, Sobhita had bagged the gold medal for Miss Photogenic title. Dhulipala is India's representation at the Miss Earth 2013 pageant in Philippines that is scheduled for December 7, 2013.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela' has been renamed 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela'. This has been done just one day before its release. The movie's name had to be changed as there was criticism from all quarters for its original controversial name 'Ram Leela'.

A legal suit was filed against the big-budget film by six petitioners. The original title, according to the petitioners, 'Ram-Leela' has nothing to do with Lord Rama and is misleading to the audience.

Dhoom 3 first Bollywood movie in the IMAX format

Dhoom 3 which is otherwise Blast 3 in English is a forthcoming Hindi action thriller film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. Interestingly, it will be the third installment of the popular Dhoom series. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will execute a repetition of their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Khan while Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif  form the antagonist duo.

The fact that brings more excitement that Dhoom 3 will be released on 20 December 2013 in regular 2D and IMAX formats. Another intense surprise that this is the first Bollywood movie to be released in the IMAX format. Dhoom 3 will be released in Dolby Atmos.

'Krrish 3' release comes to a stand!

'Krrish 3' release comes to a stand!

The information has come on October 29th 2013, that Uday Singh Rajput a writer from Madhya Pradesh moved the Bombay High Court declaring guilty of copyright violation of the script of ‘Krrish 3’ . The writer at the same he wants to stay on the all India release of the film coming Friday. It would be unless he was given a compensation of Rs. 2Crore. 

 Furthermore, he filed a petition demanding as right that he had written the script titled 'Krrish-2' which was a sequel to Krrish part 1. On the contrary he was being refused the credit for writing the story. Rakesh Roshan, has also filed a warning in the High Court urging that no relief should be granted to Uday Singh Rajput unless he (Roshan) is heard in the matter.

The applications would be heard today by Justice S J Kathawala. The writer demanded as right that he registered his script titled Krrish-2 with the Film Writers Association on July 23, 2008. Subsequently, he met Roshan and gave him the script. 

Roshan promised to pay him if the script was used. On the contrary, as a substitute of paying him, Roshan used the same script to make a sequel to Krrish and gave the title as Krrish-3 instead of Krrish-2. The petitioner further declared guilty that Rakesh Roshan had advertised in electronic media that he himself was the story writer of ‘Krrish 3’, even though in front the court in his application Roshan has declared as fact that the story was written by Rubin Bhatt and the script was registered on March 3, 2011.

Now, we must await with eagerness to know when the superhero Krrish comes out of the issue.

Causing intense excitement the corset and conical bra Madonna wore for her 1990 world tour will go on display at London's Barbican Centre following year as part of an eclectic 2014 season.

The lingerie will be in an exhibition of designs by Jean-Paul Gaultier, who created them for Madonna's Blond Ambition tour as well as stagewear for Kylie Minogue and costumes for the films of Pedro Almodovar and Luc Besson's The Fifth Element. The Barbican lineup will be inclusive of a look at the impact of digital technology on the arts and culture, a play based on a book by Colm Toibin and the venue's more traditional fare of symphony concerts as well as recitals and film.

Barbican managing director Nicholas Kenyon expressed at a news conference on Tuesday that visitors to the famous brutalist-architecture arts-cum-housing complex in north-east London for the first time topped one million for the 2012-2013 season.

Neetu Chandra to invade into play titled 'Umrao Jaan'.

The model-turned-actress Neetu Chandra will be making her invasion into theatre by essaying the iconic character Umrao Jaan. Beautiful Neetu debuted in Bollywood with 'Garam Masala' in 2005, will be acting in the play titled 'Umrao Jaan'.

Veteran actress Rekha had immortalised the character in the 1981 film, and Aishwarya Rai also enacted it in the 2006 remake directed by JP Dutta.  Neetu said she was inspired by Rekha and looked upon her for the role.  Neetu told PRI that she was extremely happy when she got this offer to play Umrao Jaan. It seems she just grabbed it is instantaneously. Her role would be different from what Rekhaji and Aishwarya had played in their respective films as film and theatre are different mediums even though the basic premise remains same.

The actress Neetu said she would be doing a mujra in the Hidayat Sami directed play, declared  to release at Prithvi theatre here on November 7.  The music for the play is composed by Rekha Bharadwaj. She expressed that (Umrao Jaan) was a singer, poet and revolutionist. Causing intense excitement Neetu is rehearing her Kathak skills and Urdu diction to get into the character.

Ranbir's Besharam, which also stars his parents, is ready-steady to become one of the most greatly released Bollywood films worldwide. To move further, Ranbir who's a member of India's first family of film at the same time the grandson of veteran Bollywood director Raj Kapoor, plays a charming yet vulgar car thief in the Hindi-language action comedy that opens on Wednesday in 4,700 cinemas internationally, including 210 in the United States (US).

Well, known to everyone about Ranbir's parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh leading Bollywood stars would be playing police agents in the film, marking the first time the three have been in the same movie.
