Karan Johar And Sidharth Malhotra Team Up Once Again

Filmmaker Karan Johar and young actor Sidharth Malhotra are going to team up once again for their next project. Karan and Sidharth have previously worked together in 'Student of the Year' and 'Hasee Toh Phasee' two hit films.

The film is not yet titled and it will be co-produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Sidharth Malhotra has made his Bollywood debut film Student of the Year in 2012 with Karan Johar and once again the young actor his given a chance in Karan Johar's next in his productions.

Sidhwani hs conformed the news stating to media that “Yes, Sidharth is on board and Karan too. Karan is a good friend and we've been talking about collaborating on a film for quite some time now. It was a conversation with the film's hero which eventually brought Karan onboard.”

There is also a buzz that the film was initially offered to Aamir Khan but things failed and the film is directed by debutante Nitya Mehra. The movie is said to be a love story about a time-traveler.

The superstar of Bollywood Akshay Kumar's 'Entertainment' which was released recently has hit box office with huge collections, till now the movie has collected 71.50 crores.

Akshay has revealed that he is going to work with Karan Johar for his next project 'Brothers' and it is slated to hit theatres on October 2 next year. Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline and Jackie Shroff are also part of the film and they would be playing crucial roles.

Akshay Kumar posted on Twitter stating that "My first association with Karan Johar.”BROTHERS" Directed by Karan Malhotra with @S1dharthM @Asli_Jacqueline & Jackie Shroff. OCT 2nd 2015."

Akshay is currently busy with his next project 'Shaukeen' remake and his kabaddi team, where as Karan Johar is also busy with his dream project 'Shuddhi' with Salman Khan. Once there scheduled projects are completed then both of them will be working with each other.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Returns' hit the Box office with huge collections and it also stood in the 100 crore mark. If sources are to be believed "Rohit's next film, starring Shah Rukh Khan, will be a remake of the '90s hit film, 'Hum' and currently, things are being finalised for the same."

Hum which was released in 1991 is a blockbuster and it features Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Govinda in leading roles which is directed by Mukul S..

If the latest buzz is true then king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is going to play Amitabh Bachchan's character in the film. Varun Dhawan is going to play Govinda character and Sidharth Malhotra is going to play Rajinikanth's character in the film, yet nothing is been finalised.

There is also a buzz that Kajol will also be a part of this film.

“Rohit is still working on the film's script and he wants to add his own touch to the film. He is looking forward to working with SRK and Kajol," says a source close to the filmmaker.

Balaji's 'The Villain' released the first look of the film with pictures of Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor together. The duo look spectacular as a romantic pair.

According to reports Shraddha was comfortable riding a bike and has plans of buying one for herself. The actress would chant 'Jai Mata Di', whenever she had to ride the bike alone following the  director 's call for 'action'. The film is a romantic thriller and is currently being filmed in Goa. It will also be shot in Bangkok and Mumbai. Riteish Deshmukh has a pivotal role in the movie. 'The Villain' is slated for release in mid-2014.
