Why Aishwarya Rai rejected 'Badlapur' which stars Varun Dhawan

Bollywood most gorgeous actor and world's most beautiful woman Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen on the silver screen with her comeback film 'Jazbaa’ which is directed by Sanjay Gupta.

Before Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa Aishwarya was approached by Sriram Raghavan for his next project `Badlapur`. There were reports stating that Aishwarya liked the script and was excited to work but later she rejected the offer.

She has rejected the offer because it is a multi starrer film which casts Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. The main reason was that her character in the films had a negative shade which Aishwarya was not okay with it.

In her comeback film she will be pairing with Irfan Khan in ‘Jazbaa’ and Aishwarya is playing safe for her comeback film.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan upcoming film 'Badlapur' which is directed by Sriram Raghavan is slated to hit the theater on February 20, 2015.

The Film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam and Radhika Apte and it is produced by Saif Ali Khan through Illuminati Films. Eros International is co-producing the movie with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films after associating with the banner on films like Love Aaj Kal, Agent Vinod, Cocktail and Go Goa Gone.

Sunil Lulla the managing director of Eros International Media Ltd claimed that, the film would be interesting and promises to be high on entertainment in Raghavan’s inimitable style.

The film would definitely be liked by the audience with resolute screenplay and luminous performances.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Returns' hit the Box office with huge collections and it also stood in the 100 crore mark. If sources are to be believed "Rohit's next film, starring Shah Rukh Khan, will be a remake of the '90s hit film, 'Hum' and currently, things are being finalised for the same."

If the latest buzz is true then king of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is going to play Amitabh Bachchan's character in the film. Varun Dhawan is going to play Govinda character and Sidharth Malhotra is going to play Rajinikanth's character in the film, yet nothing is been finalised.

There is also a buzz that Kajol will also be a part of this film.

“Rohit is still working on the film's script and he wants to add his own touch to the film. He is looking forward to working with SRK and Kajol," says a source close to the filmmaker.
