Indian International Film Festival 2013 At Macau
Barfi
romantic comedy film known to have cracked almost every category of
awards including best picture, at India's answer to the Oscars on
Saturday as Bollywood commemorates its
centenary. Bollywood dignity focused on the Chinese gambling hub of
Macau for the 14th edition of the Indian International Film Festival,
located in the territory's glittering Venetian resort.
Barfi
experienced victory of six awards which also included the prize for best
actor as well as best director. Barfi, light romantic film was telling
us about a deaf and mute man from
Darjeeling whose life revolved in the mind around two love interests,
stars Ranbir Kapoor who is the great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor,
pathfinder of Indian film and an actor in the silent era of Hindi cinema.
Furthermore,
Anurag Basu the filmmaker of Barfi expressed that he can't say how we
are feeling, yet he was enjoying every moment of it. People can
understand the film due to the fact of less words while keeping it more visual. The filmmaker added saying Western silent movies had inspired the film.
