On Monday, Mumbai's local court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against actor Sanjay Dutt.
According
to Indian news channel Times Now, the warrant was issued after Dutt
failed to appear in an Andheri court in connection with a criminal case
filed by film producer Shakeel Noorani.
Fact-fully, the arrest warrant is a result of a long-standing dispute between Noorani and Dutt.
Noorani
has declared that the actor threatened him after Dutt uninhibited his
project Jaan Ki Baazi in 2002. In fact, he claimed that halfway through
the film, Dutt cancelled the shoot and refused to respond to his calls.
As a concluding fact,
following in order, Noorani filed a case with the Indian Motion
Picture’s Producers Association (IMPAA), which directed Dutt to pay the
producer more than Rs20 million for the losses incurred. Noorani moved the case to Mumbai high court for the execution of that order.
Now, it's another big blunder for Sanjay Dutt!
